Application of Topical Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma for Treatment of Pemphigus Foliaceus Wounds: A Case Report

Background: Pemphigus foliaceus (PF) includes lesions on the skin, generally without involving mucosa. Wounds in PF arise outer layer of superficial but if left untreated, wound will not heal and multiply. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) containing a variety different growth factors can be used care. This study was at time to describe autologous PRP therapy treatment excoriated erosional wounds patients with pemphigus foliaceus.
 Case presentation: A woman, 35 years old, married, housewife living suburban, comes emergency department complaints blisters accompanied by pain face, body, back which has been increasing since 1 month ago. Examination skin showed palpebral eyelids right eyes. In anterior posterior trunk regions, proximal 1/3rd suprapubic extremities, there are hyperpigmented erythematous macules, multiple, nummular-plaque, discrete, partially confluent, white brownish scales, single exfoliative. region, Nikolsky's sign positive. Laboratory evaluation an increase leukocytes neutrophils. ANA examination negative results anti-ds-DNA 54.91. Management form topical systemic treatment. Topical management open compress 0.9% NaCl solution, Intrasite gel®, closed Cutimed sorbact® for erosion excoriation. administered 7th day On 14th after PRP, patient is allowed go home repair throughout region.
 Conclusion: cases very useful improving clinical condition patient.
